Mobility-focused melee weapons such as the Typhoon Blade come with durability counters that restrict their use to a specific number of times.
When the Kinetic Blade made its return it was given the same restriction allowing players to use it 20 times before it becomes unusable.
A player on the Fortnite subreddit expressed their discontent stating that the Kinetic Blade with a limit of 20 uses is not truly the Kinetic Blade.
This Redditor feels that the change is a way for developers to sidestep potential complaints from players who might find the weapon too powerful.
Others echoed this sentiment with one user wishing that both the Kinetic Blade and the mythic Typhoon Blade didnt have any durability at all calling it the worst aspect of the game.
