Fortnite’s awesome Dragon Ball skins are back, but there’s one major problem

Fortnite's highly sought-after Dragon Ball skins have made a return after a five-month hiatus; however, there is a significant issue for those wishing to descend from the Battle Bus as their preferred character — the skins are not available for purchase. Fortnite has become renowned for its extensive array of crossovers and collaborations with various prominent franchises, musicians, and athletes. Among these collaborations is Dragon Ball, the immensely popular anime and manga series that has chronicled the adventures of Goku since 1984. For many, including myself, Dragon Ball has been a significant part of our childhood and continues to resonate with us today. Therefore, it is no surprise that the community buzzes with excitement whenever skins from this franchise are featured in Fortnite’s Item Shop. Regrettably, despite the expectation that these skins would be available now, they are currently inaccessible to players. Fortnite’s Item Shop isn’t showing the Dragon Ball skins
Epic Games has encountered a significant oversight in the preparation of the Item Shop for January 1, as observed by FNBRintel and ShiinaBR. The company included the Dragon Ball skins in the store; however, they neglected to create a designated section for these items. As a result, although the skins are available in the inventory, they remain inaccessible to players, preventing anyone from purchasing them with V-Bucks. This situation is akin to a retail store receiving a shipment of new sneakers on their launch day but failing to display them on the sales floor. While the items are present in the backroom, customers are unable to make a purchase. FNBRintel has verified that the highly anticipated Goku Black skin is set to make its return for the first time since August 2024. This release will also include the Frieza, Trunks, and Android 17 & 18 skins. Additionally, several pickaxes will be available, such as Frieza’s Spaceship Staff and the Ki-Scythe.
