IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat collaborated to play Fortnite, streaming their efforts until they achieved victory in the game's Ranked mode, accumulating millions of hours of viewership each.
Both streamers are recognized for their extravagant broadcasts and periodic collaborations, most notably joining forces for a comedic 100-hour Hardcore Minecraft marathon earlier this year.
In December, they reunited to compete in Fortnite, aiming to secure a victory in the battle royale's Ranked mode.
During their streaming session, which lasted over 57 hours, they faced defeat 206 times before achieving a legitimate win on December 30. However, their significant triumph was not the only success they experienced throughout their extensive two-day broadcast.
Fans watched IShowSpeed & Kai Cenat’s Fortnite stream for over 10M hours
Data compiled by Streams Charts indicates that both streamers accumulated a total of 5.3 million hours of viewership on their respective channels, resulting in an overall broadcast total exceeding 10 million hours watched.
Additionally, Speed achieved a peak of 186,000 live viewers on his channel, while Cenat reached a peak of 160,000, culminating in a combined total of over 346,000 viewers watching them play Fortnite in real-time. This accomplishment was particularly challenging, as both streamers faced continuous stream-sniping from trolls during their ambitious endeavor. It was only after Epic Games intervened on their behalf that the stream snipers were banned, allowing them to concentrate fully on their viral mission.
This marks yet another milestone for these two streamers, who have consistently excelled in the industry throughout 2024. IShowSpeed's online presence captivated audiences and earned him the title of Streamer of the Year, while Kai Cenat's Mafiathon 2 set new records on Twitch.
